If you only disable these, people could still get Perfect fit, MIQ/CC, Hunter and kill everything before you have the chance to loot up. You can't only remove some kits. You have to remove them all
No, not everyone has the same thing. Yes, kits take some skill it's true, but the battle is over after a few bow shots or sword hits. This makes it the "no-skill, whoever can hit faster games". And yes, it is an advantage if you are good at PvP with kits, but once again the battles are over too quickly. And to summarize the words of one of the best PvP'ers on YouTube "If you want to test your skill, 1v1'ing with full iron and a stone sword is the best way to determine how skilled you are. Diamond swords kill people in 4 crit hits but stone sword fights last longer and give you the ability to survive." No kits requires a lot more skill as battles last longer, the ability to analyse a fight (knowing when to run, how to press your advantage etc) and your knowledge of the map and therefore your knowledge of the location of chests. So yes, very much skill. With your last half of your last statement seems to me you were describing kitting, not normal SG, "...the ability to click your mouse n swing. so much skill". Yes, that is what kitting means. I personally think that the "Minecraft Survival Games" was started up because people wanted to reenact the popular books/movies of the Hunger Games. I have read all the books and watched all the movies that have come out and I am 100% sure that people couldn't "buy" upgrades that made them very over powered. So now it's just a question of: 1. Should we remove all kits? 2. Should we remove some kits? And once again, for those of you who may not have read the whole thing properly, I want a tournament where the winner is the most SKILLFUL not the person with the most kits.

+1 great idea! This will probably give the server new players, but no kits at all. It will be a game of luck rather than unfairness.
No, people do not pay for kits "only to be penalized" 1. People pay for kits to be able to use it for the rest of the time the server is up. $15 to use a kit whenever they want for several years is a great deal imo and 1 day without the kit will not kill anyone, even our donors. When they buy the feature they agree that there may be times where the feature may be disabled. 2. How are they being penalized? A penalty means to punish someone, not give them an equal shot as someone else.
Well, it all depends. Are we having the Christmas spirit fun, where nobody could give a rat if they lost, or a hardcore pvp tourney where hacks are called after each kill?
