What the developer can do is to make different sg arenas that lets you break blocks. But i think placing blocks expect crafting tables and furnaces are too overpowered Otherwise of the placing blocks issue, +1
Furnaces are a problem and could not be placed b/ c they don't clear between sg's so smelting is impossible in sg unless a change is made
We would need sg maps and people could like hide underground or in the sky and it would kind of just be stupid.
It isnt world guard that prevents you from breaking blocks, it is the SG plugin itself, which has a config option for what blocks are breakable.
Alright, so I've listening to the comments made. I have decided to tweak the suggestion a bit to remove the placement of blocks. Now, there will not be placing, but there will still be pre-placed furnaces, and like we already have, pre-placed crafting tables. This eliminates the chance of people building up to the sky, and camping there. It also still allows for the self-gathered survival aspect, without first-to-break waiting game.
Like I said b4 furnaces WILL NOT be in sg. They were removed b/c they don't clear meaning u can stash items from sg to sg so this won't work
How does this make kits useless? Not only do you already have all the equipment you need with kits, but you get potions and enchanted equipment as well. Kits can't be made with this system, therefore users who have them still have an advantage. Also, there are no new items added, so I don't see the difference.
I beleive what they are saying is u can get all iron stuff which is about equivalent to many kits which makes kit users lose the advantage
