Having my own experience playing skywars , I do think it would be very nice to have on ecc. There are infact a few problems regarding hacking,lag,glitches,bugs,etc. I remmember a time when i played skywars and some guy walked through blocks , meaning people would report for hacking when it could just be there fps. But i still think its a great idea +1 , and i hope it will be considered! (and yes still wait until server becomes a hub )
I know because this is ECC. When people complained about buffer, all they did was raise the price an extra $10 or $15 and they added the ++ kits which you get every game. When McMMO was op they added bonuses, and McMMO levels. There is always something that has to get added, and nothing to get nerfed. This is ECC, and unfortunately people like me have to suck it up and keep on dealing with it, just to finish goals, and then leave because of these reasons.
One of the main reasons I am suggesting this is because of kits. This would give us a fresh start. The administrators knew they screwed up with the whole kit thing, and trust me, they wouldn't make that mistake again. And even if this did happen to have kits, it would still be fun. Kits could be things such as enderpearls, healing pots, extra arrows, etc. that doesn't absolutely destroy the competition. As you can see in my video, many people that play have purchased kits, but that doesn't stop noobs like me from winning. I don't think you could ruin SkyWars with kits even if you tried, unless you added fly, because all it is is strategy. It doesn't even require that much PvP skills/hand-to-hand combat like sg.
This hits the nail on the head. As long as there is nothing to fly round with and nothing that you start with that can kill the opponent within seconds, this is a fine suggestion. +1
If this were to be added, I feel like player counts would increase dramatically IF AND ONLY IF donor features are kept to an absolute minimum.
"Not killing the oppotent within seconds" Mabye to add onto this , No enderpearls? If anyone in this suggestion could morph this into a better idea with the enderpearl situation that would be great -Thank you
They would still make more money if they added this even withought kits cause of all the new loyal players this would bring.
+1 when the hub is added this could be one of the mini games added. There is a problem with kits though, I don't want skywars to be ruined like SG is.
We're diligently working on our server hub as we speak, so I'm glad we have some suggestions for mini-games to add. This potentially could be one of the mini-games in which we consider adding. I don't think it'll be difficult getting players who want to play it, as it's something new. Everyone wants to try something new. I'd like to see some discussion on how exactly we could implement an economy aspect to this, and possibly some fair donation features.
I know this thread is old, but I'm bumping it because I believe it is relevant now since we have the hub.
This would be fun and it would attract new players. I found ecc looking for an sg server and im sure many people would find ecc looking for a sky wars server. When i look at other servers that have sky wars it always seems to be a popular part of the server and I think it would be the same on ecc.
