Say you win 5000 Netherstars when you're in the spawnarea..... you lose a lot of netherstars to random users around you xD half of your netherstars will be placed on the floor xD
Lol didn't think of that...hmm, maybe they would just be placed in item pickup area (only big wins, small ones that would fit in your inventory would just be delivered automatically?)
Yeah...what if the player doesn't claim them (don't know how, computer crashes, aren't online and don't realise)?
it still stay's there untill they do /lottery claim, they could wait weeks or months if they wanted to
After a while you'd get a lot of netherstars locked up "somewhere" waiting for someone to claim them, just adding more "stuff" (LWC storage takes up space/lag?) which causes lag. I think the stars should disappear after a day/week or so, but no longer then that.
They wouldn't be "stored" anywhere other than a number of stars are are likely to be spawned in when the person wins and claims it as the buying of tickets with nstars or similar would take the object out.
The netherstars are be "stored" in a textfile,on a single line per lottery. <username>:<amount>:<itemid> So for 1 goldingot it would be: kukelekuuk00:1:266 This wouldn't take up much space aside from the 10-40 bytes of text. :b So.. yeh, it won't cause even the least bit of lag.
Okay, so i just showed you all my lack of computer programming knowledge But you'd imagine after say...200 or so of these lines of text you would get a little lag increase?
PFfftt I can have 1000's of bytes of data on my computer and not get lag XD my computer is quite laggy... bytes are the smallest amt. of measurement
Hmm... We seem to be dragging this topic on and on, can we at least get someone to tell us if this is even possible?
