[User Complaint] upmoon

Although I don't come on ECC very often as of now, I still come to the forums everyday and I believe I'll start becoming more active.

So, here is the information I've gathered 'Behind the scenes'. A few obvious points that suggest this is Kconahan himself is the fact that he types the same way as him. He also constantly plays SG, which Kconahan also did. His timezone is identical to Kconahan's aswell. However, these are slight assumptions that give no conclusive evidence.

Yesterday, when I got informed of this, I proceeded to attempt to get Kconahan's actual IP, which was quite difficult because his been using a VPN for quite sometime now, and that is essentially which is not letting me find out his alts.

I found out Kconahan's skype and perhaps his IP (Which I can never be certain of because of the amount of time his been using a VPN, the only way for me to know is with access to his IP obtained through the server itself, which I know I will never get my hands on).

I've also managed to get hold of Upmoon's IP and the funny thing is that while iplogging him, he managed to be in Europe, Asia and in the U.S in a period of like an hour or two. Now, I simply have to botnet his VPN which will cause it to crash, revealing his actual IP, however, I'm still un-certain of what I can do because of not having Kconahan's identical IP, the only way I see this working for sure is if he gets sent a Rat, which I think will never happen either.

TL;DR

Kconahan used a VPN in his Kconahan account which makes it hard to find out who he really is. Upmoon has been using a VPN to log in into ECC. There is something fishy going on. If I could have Kconahan's real IP I'd be able to find out his alts, if there are even any. This is pretty much all speculation.

Oh and yes, all of the above is 100% legal, at least in my country.

Hmm well if he could have a diferent IP other people could be using his account. He would have to tell us that.

I don't think people from all over the world are going to use an account over a period of 2 hours and not have any conflict.

 

Apologies if this is unnecessary, however, I spoke with upmoon quite a few times around spawn. On one of these occasions upmoon stated that I was a great Staff member before. It didn't strike me as out of the ordinary at the time, but after seeing this... Upmoon joined ECC (according to his forum date) nearly 2 months after I resigned. I helped Kcon on multiple occasions before he was permabanned, so looking back on it, this scenario makes sense. No evidence to support this, only my word. Hope this situation can be clarified soon.

 

Wow thanks for posting, I trust falconaire. I have stopped my investigating. I also have found that the "Kcon forum alt" said that he found upmoon as a alt.

 

Did some more investigating and I highly doubt Upmoon is Kconahan. Though they are very similar in charectiristics, I do believe they are different people.

I started by finding out Kconahan's skype, as in my previous post. Which I then used to find out his real name, adress, etc.
When talking with upmoon on skype, he seemed fishy, however, honest. He told me his real name, and linked me to his facebook. His quite different from Kconahan, I then convinced him to turn on his webcam to prove it, which he did.

Although through my investigation things were pointing towards them being the same person, I do believe that as of now, until proven different he isn't Kconahan.

 

Last warning for everyone. If you have serious concerns at this point, I suggest sending them straight to Revan/Andrew. However, let me be clear in saying that they do not skimp on their investigations. I do not want to see any more random comments nor slanderous comments in this complaint.

 

Upon further investigation of the matter, Upmoon has been banned from the forums.
