This is absolutely incorrect. The frame rate for games solely depends on the restrictions set by the developers. And you do NOT get 20 fps on a PS3, that's for sure.
i prefer Xbox, but PC by far Xbox does have all the features that playstation has, but has a little more care for the code that makes it what it is today, plus it has minecraft xD
PlayStation I have no real thoughts as to why I prefer it. I just play it more, that's why I like it xD
I have always though of XBox to be the superior gaming system. So in my opinion XBox 360>PC and other computer games>Playstation>Wii

What is your definition of a superior console? That is a question we should ask ourselves, as there are many differences between the two consoles to compare them in order to pick out one and say that's the best. I won't post my opinion, I will post what is already known to the gaming world. Playstation 3 features seven auxilliary proccessing cores, which altogether add up for a power of 400 Gigaflops at an approximate rate. A Blu Ray x16 driver speeds up the reading time of disks. The PSN network has one of the biggest user databases of all online gaming services. However, the controller is somewhat small and fragile, which means that it is really easy for one to break it. Moving on to Xbox 360. Featuring three dual core proccessing units, it achieves a graphical proccessing power close, but not that good as PS3. However, the online services, although charged, offer a wider aspect of communication. That is quite a benefit, and it's the reason it stands out in the crowd when it comes down to team gaming (with clans, friends, etc). Comfy pads and a trigger system on the controller is definetely another bonus to add here. So, which console is best for you? That is a choice one should make depending on their gaming preferences. Are you a team player? Opt for Xbox. Do you will to sacrifice that element for better graphics and free online services? Opt for Playstation. There is really no way of reaching a conviction point by taking in account only some of these factors. I will not compare these two to a PC though, as it is not asked by the OP and is totally irrelevant to the thread.

Ahhh... this old thread. Basically useless now, since Sony has completely destroyed what little competition they had in the first place! The PS4 has trumped the Xbox One in every way, shape, and form. Don't believe me? Here, have an example.

Ok I prefer PlayStation over Xbox. Each console has their strengths. PS- Free online, Casual gamers, Blue ray, Basically for a household usage rather then just gaming. XBox- Online less glitchy, More exclusive titles, Many say controller is better but, i disagree, Mostly for Somewhat hardcore to hardcore gamer Now with new systems PS4 is KILLING XBox
