So as you've found undoubtedly I'm tired of this crap of people being assholes leaving rude remarks and insultive comments yet complain of me when I have every right to smack them in the face for being rude especially when they do it to instigate a confrontation, so heres my question should I bother fighting back with these richard cranium's or should I just tell them "yeah whatever fuck off"?
Hell, I'm tired of the occasionally rudeness and sometimes racism. But ya know what? Put some big boi pants and quit your whining. One simple report does the job, rather than a complaint thread.
Thats why we have the player reports on forums.. Personal attacks and insults are not allowed server wide.
If I were you, I'd try not to say anything back. I know it's hard but just tell staff about it. It will get them banned or muted so it's always the best option so they can' t do anything back.
thanks for the feedback everyone except you Epic you just showed how hypocritical you are in the very meaning of the post so put on your big boy pants and take a nice seat in line cause I wasn't whining about anything I was asking a simple question with statements learn some humility or STFU.
it's perfectly fine rinn, just proving my point that people need to start being more considerate rather than rude.
i cant stand it when im trying to enderpearl and then a sheep hops in front of me and then he gets sheered and then his wool falls off and makes a disco pattern floor design and then all mobs come to party and i get FPS lag. goodness. probably happens to everyone
@ElderWolfAngel I don't know which server(s) you play on, but I play on mostly on skyblock and survival. I have found that servers that are not competitive in nature (ie factions or kitpvp) lend themselves to a (generally) better playerbase. Of course, there are always exceptions, but this is the internet. It's pretty much to be expected. I deal with unruly/disruptive players with these steps: 1. Kindly and politely ask them to stop. If this is an argument between two players, I would ask them to move to /msg so the main chat isn't filled with them arguing. 2. Ask them to stop doing whatever they were doing as well as either telling them their actions are against the rules and/or threaten to file a report/get a mod. Most people stop here since they don't want to risk and discipline. 3. If all else fails, follow through on your word. Get a moderator on the server and file a report (with proof, of course). Of course, you could always use /ignore <playername>. Just my 2 cents on how to deal with these types of people.
Oh and, also, I am not trying to start a flamewar at ALL. It's just because with all the threads about people being rude, it's frustrating. It can be fixed as said above by Rainingrecon.
If you play on factions or kitpvp, /ignore. Reporting someone won't get you very far unless it is racial, sexual, sexual preference, religious, irl death threats, ddos, ... And remember, when you beat someone in pvp you will be called a hacker, swore at, ez, and various other things, although the loser simply lost.
