As Factions is down,i dont have many choices on aem. Im going to try out survival,every now and then i have viewed survival threads and I've seen something called towns which im not fimilier with from singleplayer survival, so if i could get alittle tutorial on things i would prefer to know throughout the times im waiting for factions to come back up, that would be great
Hello there! For Towny Survival, you have to obtain the rank [Trusted] to create a town. To get it, you need a total game play of 24 hours. You'll be able to /tpa /tpahere /back /town new (townname) use flint n steel as well as placing lava. For protections, we have towny. It's not 100% grief-proof (grief is still not allowed even if the area is not claimed) but it still works, there are many commands which you can set like; /town set perm outsider/resident/ally destroy off/on and many more, you can type /town ? for more commands! If there is anything you are unsure of, please do speak to any survival staff/players - there are more than happy to help you out.
I think you are definitely making the right choice, some people are factions people at heart but the players on the survival server are so friendly that you might make the permanent switch. You'll find yourself getting sucked into the survival grind if its for money, or just to progress your building/creative prowess. I'm glad you have come over to survival; I hope that we will be good friends on the server (if you didn't know my ign is rcl00-r c l zero zero). xD
