You pay for an advantage not to win, on Skyblock their was a VIP on baltop with over 3 Million and he earnt all that money himself he wasn't paid by others

As Enderlink said he's the second highest rank but that doesn't make him the 2nd best player

Obviously not the second best player considering #1 He doesn't really play skyblock he plays skygrid to my knowledge and #2 there are multiple skylords and skylegends so I don't see your point...
Also paying for an advantage, I do see your point. But there's no way you will be #1 on baltop on skyblock unless you pay, ESPECIALLY with crates.

I wasn't trying stating he would be the second best, I was trying to point out that it sounds like you believe all Skylegends will be in the lead of baltop and /is top while all Skylords follow behind, and so on. Also baltop is only 6.985 Mill which is not hard to grind out even if your a non-donor just build massive farms e.g. Cacti

No that's not what I was saying at all. If you're a daily player with a skylegend rank compared to a daily player with no rank, all I'm saying is that there is no way the no rank in that situation would have more money or island levels due to the amount of items you get from kits.

For a long time players get to bent out of shape over the money on Skyblock. Having millions of dollars is only for personal satisfaction and really means nothing in the game. Yes you can buy whatever you want, but after a million dollars in the bank it really means nothing. Players tend to forget what really needs to be addressed.

1) On some challenges, it states Eggs will be an award. This needs to be fixed.
2) When a person uses animal eggs and tries to get pens of animals going such as sheep cow and pig those animals disappear. I've only been back for about 10 days and already I've lost 13 animals. So those eggs are wasted and gone.
3) No access to The End
4) No access to The Nether
5) Voting is worse now than it's ever been. I lose about 1 out of every 5 votes and sometimes it worse. On one day alone, I lost 3 votes.

I noticed on the second day back, that everybody is excited for the crates and the Reaction opportunity to make money. Players are NOT excited about anything else. How can this be? How can the most exciting thing to do on Skyblock be a simple voting key and the Reaction? This is most certainly not what Skyblock is about. Everyday I play, I see in chat players complaining about many things. The only answer given by the Admin is, the owners are working on it, they have real life issues and It's all because of Alex. Well as a prior business owner who has an idea of what a business is all about let me say this. The owner paid for AEM and invested money in this site. Real life is this business, you are a small business owner who is trying to make money. Therefore you must give 110% to the business or else it will fail.

I've always thought a lot about AEM. This was a great site and I remember logging on and seeing 700 + players online. Now there is barely 80. This site can be great again, it can be what it once was with a lot of players and support from the community. We the players make this site great, we the players earn you money and help fund this site month after month.

Please don't take this message wrong. It's not meant to be a bitch fest and get the pot stirred up. It's a message to let you know, something needs to be done rather quickly. We want to be here and support this site and we want to see AEM great again. Let us help you get this site back to where it once was. Listen to our suggestions and concerns but more importantly give us updates and let us know what is going on. When we don't hear anything for weeks at a time, it appears you don't care and nothing is being done. Information is key. Just keep us informed and we'll do the same.

Yes they indeed invested into AEM, saying it's a small business, I won't argue with that but fact is it is also just a game.
Making money is important to keep the server going, I agree. Their work and life outside of minecraft is equally as important. How long can a Minecraft server last, would you prioritize a Minecraft server over real life job and education? No. They have got their priority straight.
The thing is, if they spend their whole time doing the server and neglecting reality, what would they be left with if the server goes down one day?

That's true, AEM isn't what it used to be, with Alex and the first few months/years, the player counts skyrocketed... then it all went downhill after a few incidents occurred. AEM was neglected for such a long time, sometimes 10 players were a lot, if not no one was online. But the new owners took it, changed it (it may not be to your liking) and managed to get the playercount back up. Sure it isn't high like what it used to be but it is't below 10 anymore. AEM is trying to change, it may not be perfect but we have to start somewhere and hope you'll stick by us as we evolve for better or for worse.

Things will be updated there and we do listen to suggestions, we're actually reading them and have already carried out some of them.

Currently no-one has touched the Skyblock challenges as it requires console, but in the future their's a possibility of unique challenges and upgraded rewards

Since the reset, Eggs are for people who are willing to name their animals using nametags so they will not de-spawn, so they can acquire a rainbow sheep or upside animal. If you want to make a food farm/pen , I suggest using spawners or placing large amounts of grass allowing passive mobs to spawn

I have actually never played on a skyblock server which has supported the end, also Nether islands were added but have temporarily been disabled due to some players taking advantage of certain aspects of them

Sway actually updated that plugin yesterday I believe, so majority of the voting issues should of been solved by now

See this is exactly what I'm talking about. Information and getting people involved. Yes AEM supported the Nether and The End and we had no issues. I played for a long time on AEM in the past and both the Nether and The End were just fine.

As far as naming animals, I'm not sure where that is posted in the forums or it might be buried somewhere hard to find. But when players join and old players come back, important items such as the problem with animals should be advertised in such a manner so that players can see and understand it readily. Animals are a big part of Skyblock as you well know. However when information is not passed on or easy to find it creates issues.

I greatly appreciate your feedback and it appears you have respected my input. There is no doubt, running a server takes time and good people invested in same. I will not disagree with any input you have put forth and thanks for listening. I'm looking forward to being apart of the AEM community again. Thanks again, CLM
