( ^◡^)っ❤ Hello! I'm Jesswii, a regular on SpaceBlock with the rank SpaceLord (for now). For new players, there are tons of new commands on the new game mode of AEM. By using /warp info you can find out quite a bit. You can also find the majority of rules at /warp rules. You may be concerned with possible griefing on your island, maybe you're not. It's important to protect yourself ahead of time so these things do not happen! My guide should at least help with some of the problems of griefing. It's dangerous to go alone! Take this guide with you!

As a new player to SpaceBlock, it is important that you close your ship. This way, players cannot get on your ship while you are offline or in a planet and misbehave on your ship. To do this, you use the command /sh close. If you wish to reopen it again to the public, use /sh open.

    (๑・ω-)~♥ Guests ~

(>’o')> ♥ But there are players who want to see your island! How do you protect your island from these strangers?! Well, if it's someone you don't know, and don't really know if you want to trust them, simply guest them. You can accomplish this by entering /sh guest [playername]. Under these permissions, they cannot open chests, add or break blocks, or kill your animals or monsters. However, they can get on your horses, but cannot teleport out with them. I don't believe they are able to access the horse's inventory, I have yet to test it.

(>’o')> ♥ If you have been guested to another player's island to visit, use /sh visit [playername].

(>’o')> ♥ Be sure that you warn them about potential falling hazards, or monster areas. They can still get hurt on your island, and can't defend themselves, not can they eat to recover health. Be wary, killing players on your ship ON PURPOSE is a bannable offense!

(>’o')> ♥ Also, when you have people who are guested on your island, to cover up redstone switches and items frames. They cannot break the frames, but can knock the items out. Redstone switched cannot be broken, but buttons and levers can be accessed. ( I figured this out the hard way when my auto-farm was griefed Q_Q)

(>’o')> ♥ If a guest is being unruly, or is making a blatant attempt to grief, you have every right to remove them as it is YOUR ship. To do so, use /sh unguest [playername]

    (๑・ω-)~♥ Friends ~

(>’o')> ♥ You want to add a friend on there? Sure go right ahead. Use the command /sh friend [playername]. Make sure you know them and trust them very well. *Admins will not help you if you have willingly added a player to your plot and they griefed you.* To add people as a friend without caution is the sure way to get griefed.

(>’o')> ♥ Under the friend group, players have access to everything! They can open chests, break blocks, kill passive and aggressive mobs. The only things they cannot do, however, is change the homeblock, reset your island, and buy plots.

(>’o')> ♥ If you have been friended to a player's ship, use /sh visit [playername] to go there. Be careful to not destroy or take anything without the player's permission!

(>’o')> ♥ If you are sharing an island with a friend, who only wants to play with you and not on their own, they will have to visit your island constantly. There is no ccurrent command to add people permanently to islands like there is in SkyBlock. To get back to your island, or your friends island, use /sh visit [playername]. Make sure you establish areas with your friends, so there are no conflicts concerning whose items belong to whom. It may also be a good idea for your friends to help contribute to the purchasing of new plots so there is room for all of you.

(>’o')> ♥ If you have a friend who is being unruly, or is blatantly being disrespectful to you, you have every right to remove them. They may be added, but it is still YOUR ship. To remove them from the friend category, use /sh unfriend [playername].

    (✿ฺ´∀`✿ฺ)ノ A Final Note ~

(>’o')> ♥ Currently there is no limit to how many guests or friends you can add to your island, but that has been noted to change, depending if it is abused. I would advise keeping your friend list small. If you have frequent sibling rivalries, and know they will get on to spite you, do not friend them to your ship.

(>’o')> ♥ If you see a new player that is clearly being scammed into friending a player to their ship, please step in and protect them. Warn other players about the dangers of friending players they don't know. Also, report the player who is attempting to scam. It is a possible ban to attempt to or scam a player. Player report forum can be located here https://aemservers.net/forums/player-reports.40/. Be sure to follow Alex's guidelines, and have screenshots as proof.

( ^◡^)っ❤ Thank you for taking the time to read this, and hopefully it will be helpful to you all! Please take care, and make sure to have fun on AEM's SpaceBlock!
