Reason of Ban: Advertising in PM

Rule violated:

Clause 1.2 - Advertising

• Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related.
  • External products may be mentioned, so long as they are not being advertised. Other Minecraft servers may not be mentioned under any circumstance.
• Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: This means you can never mention another server even in a private message to a friend. Advertising is also not OK in any channel unless it is for ECC things that belongs in trade channels.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I did not realize that I could not mention my server in a PM to someone. I now see that this rule said "under any circumstance" which clearly means I cannot mention it even in a PM or if asked or anything. I am very sorry that I clearly broke this rule. Ignorance of the details or not realizing the specifics of the rule is not an excuse. I should have read the rules more carefully and also I should remember to tell people that I cannot talk about other servers. Please forgive me for making this error. I will certainly make better decisions moving forward and be a better member of the community.
