Msword scamming.​

Rule Violated:

Clause 2 - Scamming
A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe.
Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion.​

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

If you make a deal, you follow through with it under any circumstance. When i saw the other player banned, i assumed i did not have to pay, so i spent the money, and that was my mistake, i should have asked the policy procedure for such situation then carried it out.​

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:

Well, in all honesty, I did not understand the steps i should have taken. Ignorance is not a valid excuse, and i received what i fairly deserved. However, if @zombie_muffin will allow it, i would like to speak with him in game to discuss partial pay, or potentially full pay, if we may both agree to reasonable time frame. I have not been on the server in well over a year or 2. On zombies forum acct he says he is basically inactive. I messaged him around a week ago in hopes to have an agreement before filing the appeal. I hope you will consider the appeal, and appreciate the time you take to view it, regardless the outcome. Thank you.​

 

As clarity, reasonable time frame is said because i will be coming back to basically no items due to prolonged inactivity. I hope this did not come off wrong.
