EXPO Winter Wonderland is coming! After almost a year of work on the complex, the ECC EXPO centre is FINALLY opening it's doors to the public, in our very first christmas-themed event: 'Winter Wonderland'. The ECC EXPO centre was designed for the sole purpose of creating a first-class venue to host brand new, engaging, quality events for ECC players. At the centre of this huge complex is the central EXPO exhibition hall, which for the duration of this event has been converted into a magical winter market, complete with stalls, decorations and even Santa's Grotto. And the best part? These market stalls will be available for players to rent for the duration of the event - FOR FREE. In addition to the fun inside, the EXPO gardens will be transformed into a winter-themed theme park, with rides and games galore! Try your hand at our go-karts course (hopefully doing a better job than @Joliver below...), and maybe even win big against other players in some of our head-to-head challenges. So join us for some festive-filled fun this winter at EXPO. Winter wonderland GRAND OPENING Thursday 1st December: 10pm GMT (5pm EST) Join us for the opening ceremony of the EXPO Winter Wonderland! The celebrations will begin at 10pm GMT with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by an elaborate fireworks display at the main entrance to the EXPO complex. Following the display players will be invited to explore the complex, take part in special games and activities and win some very special prizes, so be sure not to miss it! Claiming your FREE market stall: As mentioned above, market stalls will be available for players to hire for FREE for the entirety of the winter festival. The allocation process for these market stalls is as follows: Application Process To apply for a market stall you must complete the application form below: Ingame Name: Rank: Time on Server: Plans for market stall: If you wish you rent a particular market stall, please give details here: Do you understand that any behaviour that is deemed unacceptable, including but not limited to griefing will result in immediate removal from the town, and a possible lifetime ban on all zodiac towns and future events?: Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible to apply for a stall you must satisfy the criteria below: - Be Mayor+ - Have been a member of the ECC community for at least 3 months. Applicants who do not fulfil this criteria but would still like to hire a market stall will have the opportunity to do so, but will require an additional deposit of $10,000 ECD that will be returned at the end of the festival. Any applicants who wish to rent a stall in this way will be required to fill out a contract before renting.
