[Suggestion] Redo of New Spawn

    This "new" spawn is much worse than the last one.
    What was wrong with the last one anyway?
    It need to be smaller, more open, and easier to navigate, imo.
    It feels like being trapped in some box in the middle of nowhere.
    Not expecting anything to be done, but I'm expressing my opinion.

    I love the outside of spawn, I dislike the underground. I feel as if i'm inside an underground parking lot.

    I agree, We should get a server wide project going to build us a new, warm, and welcoming spawn for our newcomers...

    It feels a bit cramped. Something more open would be nice.

    Yeah I was kinda thinking that it was a little cramped/hard to get around.. but it does look good still!

    I don't like starting in a 4 high room underground. At the very least you need some signs stating how to get out.

    Ouch T__T. Everyone hates my design!

    Hmm, I think i'll use this post to express some of the reasons for the spawn redesign, as i'm sure a lot of people we're confused with the current and sudden changes. Firstly, the same old spawn was getting a bit stale, and andrew and I both agree'd that it needed something changed, though going into it we weren't entirely sure what. Also, there have been a lot more towns popping up, moreso with the addition of the President rank, and if anyone remembers, we were starting to run low on areas in the old spawn for portals. Finally, we have some (semi-secret) plans in the works that will utilize the floors quite well, and you'll just need to bare with us until those get churned out. (Which by the looks of it should be soon).
    In closing, i want everyone to keep in mind that the current spawn is still a work in progress. And is subject to change. Infact, if anyone has any ideas they would like to share, go build something in single player and send it to myself, or andrew! Who know's we might even use it if its really good~

    The problem with the new spawn, aside from everyone preferring the old one, is the difficulty in navigation. It really doesn't matter how the various gates are arranged. What really matters is that everyone can get to the location they want to. I was thinking about the numerous gates and was reminded of an airport. That's really what the spawn is, an airport. There are 14 or so gates now, but in the future there may be hundreds. Putting all the gates in a big circle just doesn't make sense. I propose that each city's gate be assigned a letter, and the spawn be reshaped to feel more like an airport. Then, when someone travels from Ionis to Spritetown, they'll go from gate F to Gate H (as an example). That way, a board with gate letters and relative locations can direct travel. Equally advantageous, an airport-type structure will be infinitely expandable. That's my idea for organizing travel through the spawn. -Cheers-
