Only for suporters. We often get accounts that have nothing to do with ECC or minecraft in general. they ay spa the shoutbox badly
I don't agree with this suggestion. Shoutbox permissions are one of the only things given to a resident upon ranking up. Therefore allowing this would diminish and decrease the added benefit or ranking up.
Not to mention the spam attacks that would occur by just allowing builders to have free access to this.
I doubt builders who donate to support the server, will be immature enough to flood the chat. Honestly... Some people already do it. Builder or not.

Yes, that was my suggestion. And @block_crusher... did you forget about... town commands and trade signs? Honestly, I just want to be able to use the forums. I have forums gold and can't even use the shout box. I can have 5000 (too lazy to check my inbox) mail in my inbox.... and can't use shoutbox?
Why not just buy resident since it only costs 15k rather than suggesting something just for your personal benefit?
It's not for my personal benefit. I am simply pushing for more rights for builders. Some builders may want to buy kit cc like I did. But even with kit cc or something of the sort, like water, its hard to make 15k unless you have thousands upon thousands of features and millions.
But what I am trying to say is that a weeks worth of voting is not very hard in order to obtain the rank Resident and gain permission to the Shoutbox.
He has more than enough to rank up, he wants to stay builder for a reason. He's even ex-staff, and he doesn't have access to the shoutbox.
I know that he has the funds. Thus why I am stating that he only wants it added for his personal benefit of being able to stay Builder.
Here's the thing; once again, I am not doing this for my own sake. Builders lotto, builders waste their money... they aren't smart with it. When I was about to have enough for resident, I got farm perms. Dropped me back down to like 5k. I had no tools, couldn't make money... until a got a pump axe. But money making at that point was still hard. I hope you know that I am not planning on staying builder. If you asked anyone... you would know that I am saving up to rank up. Also, we need to encourage further activity on the forums for builders. The more involved they become, the smaller the chance they decide to quit. Do you know how boring it is just wandering the forums not being able to do much? Sure, I'll post a bit, forum pm some people, but at this point, I maybe check the forums every 24-48 hours?
I know this. I apologise if I have come off rude I just don't see this necessarily a very important addition.
If you can get 5-10 builders who can comment here who have donated, saying they would like this other than exil, then I agree with this suggestion. Haven't seen many builders who have donated, I saw 1-2 a few weeks ago, who quit over kits.
Well, I would love to argue you that on why they already have a plethora of rights, and how it would be detrimental in adding more rights, but I'll let the thread take it's course.
I'm kind of torn on this. Opinion A: Give builders shoutbox access. Pro: Newer players get an early opportunity to use an integral part of the forums. Con: Spambots/Trolls would easily abuse this to a terrible extent. Opinion B: Add shoutbox permissions to forum gold/lite. Pro: People who paid for more forum abilities can use the shoutbox. Easy to add. Con: idk really.
