I think it would be nice for all donators to have access to the shoutbox, regardless of rank. It's weird to think that people like @Exilenela are [*VIP*] and can't even use the shoutbox because of their rank. I guess a way to code this is if they have a donation medal, then they have perms to shoutbox. Residents+ would obviously still have perms. This could be changed to be a forum gold/forum lite benefit. Thoughts?
+1 although It would be better if they have to donate a specific amount rather than it being lite/gold, like people with the 50+ medal could or something, cause then people would need to put a little more money into our server before they can troll (or they can be a nub and rank up :3)
I think it should not be something for all donaters but an additional perk of Forum Gold/Lite. I believe it would create an additional incentive to obtain the Forum upgrades if you wish to stay the builder rank. +1
Shoutbox access is a resident perk and resident isn't that expensive at all. If choosing not to rank up then you're choosing not to have the associated perks (this being one of them). As well, the shoutbox currently is labelled "Residents+" which is simple. "Residents+* *=or forum premium/lite builders" as well as white names in the shoutbox would just be confusing. Thanks for the suggestion however this is denied.
