Post your favorite books with its category! I like to read science fiction/novels about almost anything related to science. However I love reading about space and things related to it. Also, I give authors credit. Feel free to talk about books, just please stay on topic! Alright, here's a list! Spoiler: Non-Fiction Hank Umemoto - Manzanar to Mount Whitney Spoiler: Fiction Louis Sachar - Holes Louis Sachar - Small steps James Dashner - The Maze Runner Lois Lowry - The Giver Spoiler: Novels Nothing yet Spoiler: Science Stephen Hawking - A brief history of time Rebecca Skloot - The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks Spoiler: History/politics Haruo Taya Cook, Theodore F Cook - Japan at war Spoiler: Manga Or Related Noting yet Spoiler: Other Nothing yet
Doubt anyone has heard of these books, but the series is called "The Wheel Of Time" by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. It's fiction/novel. I haven't finished all of them yet but it's a good read. It's very detailed and kind of slow moving but it's worth it.
hunger games series- author Suzanne Collins/science fiction adventure i think and percy jackson series- author Rick Riordan/fiction they aren't very hard to read xD may seem like a lot of pages but really easy to read books and they are also very fun to read xD
The secrets of the immortal Nicholas flamel ( 6 book series) -Michael Scott - Fiction The foundation series - Isaac Asimov -science fiction
Excellent books listed. So many books, so little space... OK, I'll try to keep this to a minimum. Warning: If you are offended easily, some of these books are not for you. Spoiler: Trilogy The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy (all 5+ books)* - Douglas Adams *You haven't lived until you have read this. The Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkein Dragonlance Legends - Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman Spoiler: Science The Elegant Universe - Brian Greene 'Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory' - 'nuff said. Spoiler: Series Isaac Asimov (Robot Series, Foundation Series) I recommend reading in order of written and not chronologically as there are spoilers in some books. Orson Scott Card (Ender Saga) At least READ the first book. It is a quick read compared to the others. First book anyone can read and enjoy; the rest of the series is not light reading. Only read on if you are ok with the pace being a lot slower. You were warned. Frank Herbert (Dune Saga) This is not a light read. This makes the Ender Saga seem light. Spoiler: Classics Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (The Prince and the Pauper, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court) Mark Twain Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury Spoiler: Short stories And the Gods Laughed - Fredric Brown Spoiler: Random Fiction (The Great Train Robbery, The Andromeda Strain) - Michael Chrichton (The Eyes of the Dragon, The Bachman Books) - Stephen King Spoiler: Non-Conventional Lone Wolf Series - Joe Dever The Boomer Bible - Robbin F. Laird Maybe I should stop before this is considered spam. Yeah, I read a lot.
I read The Mistborne Series (Sanderson). I have not read The Wheel Of Time, although I have heard of it.
I haven't read the dune saga yet because I haven't seen it but I watched the movie and it's good and I'm still reading foundation series. I'm on third book I think and I'll add more books later. Btw emau are those only the books you liked? (I'm guessing, yes)
Non -Fiction: The diary of a young girl by Anne Frank Fiction: Containment & The Hunger Games & The 39 Clues & Percy Jackson series & the Riley Bloom series & LOTS MORE Science: A few Human Body books... Manga/Comics: Fruits Basket
-Lord of the Rings books for sure, even though I haven't read the third book yet. (No one tell me what happens please!!!) -All Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books. If you've heard people talking about 42 being the meaning of life, and you're confused, read this. Pretty easy reads, but very funny. -I've read Hawking's A Brief History of Time before, because I'm a nerd. Actually pretty good though. -I'm planning on reading Dune sometime soon, looking forward to it. As for a book I didn't like, The Hunger Games. Just so, meh, you know? I thought it was way too predictable. If I was the author I would have had Peeta die and have it be Rue and Katniss as the final two. But just my opinion. Everyone else really liked that book, whatever.
