Accused Username: Digger0208/ Miner1975Complaint: SG Boosting. Noticed this happen in a couple of games through out the day, Digger was logging in on Minechat (or another server chatting app) and was joining games to have Miner kill him for extra money. If I remember correctly, this is considered SG boosting as Digger is letting Miner kill him. I believe they're brothers. I managed to kill him one game and he PM'ed me... it appears he accidently let it slip he was letting Miner kill him.Evidence: Additional Information: Really isn't cool when people do this - we're all here to have some fun and make money fairly.
I also received this strange message from miner1975 which seems to have no context what so ever. Idk if it helps, but it can substantiate bash's claims.
Wasn't SG boosting, just wanted to get his kits. Anyone could have killed him, most of the time I left him at spawn cause I didn't need his stuff. When he lotto'd he would sit in the SG game and use his kits.
I asked a staff member what the rule on SG boosting was about (couldn't find it on the wiki). Me and digger were doing what was considered SG boosting. We were in the wrong and I apologize for that. I will take the punishment for boosting, and promise not to do it in the future.
I'd have to disagree with this as the times I saw you kill him no kits were dropped nor when I killed him any were. Thank you for your honestly, however.
Well, we "boosted" twice, once in SG 3 and again in SG 4. You can see from my SG history on the SG leaderboard that I killed digger in SG 3 and digger was killed by you in SG 4. The game played on SG 4 was a no kit game, therefore I did not need to kill digger because he had nothing to give. We honestly did not know at the time that this was considered SG boosting, and we meant no harm or bad intention. Because I am being honest, and because we only "boosted" once, I would hope that our punishments would be decreased, however I will take any punishment necessary. Time out here. Sg boosting is usually in the context where there is only two players in the game. If miner was playing sg and digger just decided to join on minechat that is not boosting even if he wanted to let miner kill him. Want to know why? Because anyone else could have killed digger in the sg. However, if it was just Miner and Digger in an sg ( a 2 person sg) then it would be considered boosting. And i have to ask you @Bashdash100 why make such a pointless complaint when a kill gives you 300 dollars, it would only be detrimental to the economy as you claim if they were the only two in the sg game and were making 1300 for free every game.
... But why is a person that cannot participate in the game given they cannot move, even joining the game in the first place, it was to give an advantage to the player, as the screenshots that bash provided prove. There is zero debate here that a person on Minechat cannot be participating in boosting, as there is zero possibility there is anything else they could be doing. It doesn't matter who else joins, because the player is still benefiting off the other as demonstrated in the screenshot.
Thank you for filing this complaint @Bashdash100 After reviewing the evidence provided and discussing this with other staff, I've decided that I'm going to be warning @Digger0208 and @miner1975 in-game. You're both experienced users and should understand what sg boosting is by now. Typically killing someone on minechat isn't considered boosting. This here can be considered boosting as @Digger0208 stated that he was "...giving miner sg kill money." @Digger0208 and @miner1975 consider this your only warning. Do not let this happen again.
