It is now possible to connect to ECC with 1.20 on your Minecraft client.
However, we still recommend that you use 1.19.4 when connecting to our Main & other servers, and 1.12.2 when connecting to Skyblock. This compatibility update is primarily for new players who are looking for servers on their 1.20 clients.
You are free to report any bugs that come with running 1.20 at https://ecc.eco/help. However, the issues will most likely be already known/reported and we, again, advise you to use 1.19.4 if you want to avoid such issues.

As you may already know - I have taken over ownership of ECC. Andrewkm has decided to step down due to real life and ongoing medical issues which will be persisting for awhile. I have now taken over all the day to day operations in regards to the server.
You wont see much of Andrew in-game or on the forums - he is taking on the Developer role and will only be around for a limited time each week for internal upkeep and consultations with myself and my team. He will continue tending to any Help/Support issues that require his absolute attention.
I know its been quite a roller-coaster ride these past few years, between resets, wild changes to the game and just the general atmosphere on the server being not the greatest. I am very aware that many of you are angry and upset at some of the things that have happened over these years. The loss of assets, the loss of towns/progress and in general the upheaval and instability that has been the tone of those years. It hasn't been pleasant.
I hope for us to turn over a new leaf, move forward with a goal of stability and keeping ECC a fun place to play.
This community has always been incredibly strong and we have all carried each other through difficult and tumultuous times, the good, the bad and the wild. I have every faith we will face this one and get through it and come out strong just like in the past. I know for many of you ECC is like home to you. Many of you look forward to coming online after you have finished work, school, or just real life in general. Some of you have forged real bonds and friendships from your shared interest in this gaming community and it has permanently impacted your lives you in ways you did not expect. There is something special to be said about such a gaming community that has that much impact on people's lives.

EcoCityCraft's Boost System is available via the Main server only at this time.
You can however use TravelBags to move boosted items between servers.
We will for the most part leave it to the players to figure out how things work!

Boost Level 1: 5% sell bonus.
Boost Level 2: 5% sell bonus + auto pickup on that item.
Boost Level 3: 15% sell bonus + auto pickup on that item.
The boost system now allows us to add custom things to any tool/item on EcoCityCraft much easier than before, as opposed to constantly suggesting new "Magic" tools and items. We definitely encourage users to post suggestions that they'd like to see discussions about, regarding potential cool feature for certain items. "Hey, can a boosted stick disable /CF?" - Lol don't be shy, suggest whatever you like and we'll all discuss it. We can pretty much make anything do anything now.
Currently the above three perks apply to everything you boost, and you can just about boost anything on ECC, other than a few blacklisted items that would simply not function correctly with our system, such as a SADDLE for example lol.
By default all boosted items are blacklisted from usage, obviously to prevent you accidently placing or using that boosted GRASS_BLOCK you just got as a gift from your town Mayor. However, a few items are white-listed for obvious reasons, such as DIAMOND_PICKAXE, because we wouldn't want you to destroy it's usage if you boost it, though I'm not sure why anyone would boost those.
