Add prismarine shards as an excavation drop.

I agree that it should be a similar drop rate to glowstone, but I also think that if it is, the pricing should lower. We wanted to add this so that more people can use the block in builds, so we want it to be more prevalent, not super duper rare to get.

Wouldn't this be more sensible to have these drop from clay? I know the reasoning behind it being soul sand, but if rare enough I would think clay as a better block to drop from as its water related like the drops. Also, I've had the idea stuck in my head to have these added to kit mobs as well as rabbits feet.

The issue is clay is really rare as it doesn't spawn very frequently. By far the easiest place to find it would be the ocean in legacy and once that ones out clay is a hassle. Wouldn't really want to promote wrecking legacy either.

 

You talking about the clay from swamps? Or the clay from mesa's

Adding it to soul sand would give people another reason to brave the nether, so +1 there... though, squid aren't that hard to find with passive mob spawning in the main worlds.

I do like the idea of being able to make these block types, since you miss out on temples if you aren't online right after a mining reset to pounce on the few that are there.
