What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    All Main Servers
    Short title for your suggestion:
    15% buff to Netherite tools
    What are you suggesting:
The Smithmaster Feature was marketed as a 15% buff to already existing star/ECC/God/Magic Tools, but in practice has resulted in practically no buffs at all. Although the main purpose of this suggestion is to foster a discussion on the correct course of action, I will include a proposed change list so the suggestion cannot be rejected for failing to propose a concrete idea.
    1. Buff the Star Axe and Sword to Sharp IX upon upgrading them.
    2. Buff the star woodcutting axe to eff17 (on the verge of instantbreak in the air, may need eff16 if I did the math wrong).
    3. Eff8 pick
    4. Either an unbreakable melon sword, or a custom enchant that makes it break melons in the fastest time possible short of instant (eff6 instant breaks) (Edit: I believe that an eff5 stone axe represents this maximal speed)
    5. Thorns 4 and unbreaking IV or V for netherite star armor
    6. Fort6 Hoe
    7. Unbreakable Star Shovel.
    8. Eff10 ECC Melon Sword.
    9. Fortune IV ECC pickaxe.
    10. Looting 11 or 12 ECC axe and PvP Sword
    11. Fort X Loyalty 50 Unbreak IX Ecc Hoe
    12. Fortune 10-11 Magic Hoe
    13. 7(?) drops per Magic Pick
    14. Break bedrock above y = 1 Magic Shovel
All of these are just ideas I thought of in my head, hopefully people come up with better ones for all tools.
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
Makes upgrading tools more then a 150$ cosmetic.
    Other information:
    :)
    Plugin or custom addition:
Will require some way to upgrade the tools automagically upon Smithing.
    One suggestion per form:
    I Understand.

+1 for some way to buff netherite star tools. Right now they are no better than diamond tools, and that is a disappointment for a $150 feature. I would NOT have purchased SmithMaster had the administration not been misleading with "about 15% eco upgrade"

Seeing as the upgrade to netherite on star/god/ecc/magic tools pretty much does nothing, the feature shouldnt cost anywhere near its price but also we shouldnt really have a cooldown in my opinion. I understand that it was probably just a overall guess to how much tools upgrading to netherite would benefit, but after everyone has dealt with it, perhaps things could be tweaked regarding price/the cooldown on the feature.

There is, indeed, a 15% boost to DPS dealt by netherite swords vs diamond, as well as +20% decreases in the block break time for pickaxes and axes. It's not true to say these tools only increase durability, as some have implied. They give a boost to speed and damage of relevant tools as well.

That said, we are considering various ways to buff this feature and we'll let you know if there are changes made. As far as this suggestion goes, there are several reasons why this specifically won't happen, including the fact that this would entail a massive change from ordinary vanilla mechanics.

You can file a new suggestion relating to things such as follows and we can consider those separately.

We are currently working with the development team in boosting Netherite tools.
More information will come soon, but it is indeed something we are working on as we speak. :D
