Denied [All Main Servers Suggestion] disable lotto for short periods

+1 but make it a feature that way ECC makes money too

 

You can always type /lot messages to prevent temptation, it works for me, and others, or even keep your money in the forum bank, these little things should stop 99% of people.
If you can't stop buying lotto tickets, that sounds more of a you issue, than the server, lotto is good as it takes money out of the economy via tax.

Here's my opinion about this suggestion-

Pros of implementing this feature:
- Higher player retention rate (since maybe people quit after losing big lottos)
- Less loan scamming (since players would invest time in working for money instead of lotto)

Cons of implementing this feature:
- Smaller lottos
- Less money taken out of ECC economy

Not sure currently how I feel about these tradeoffs so I'm at a +/- 1

 

Just learn self-control? If it's a problem for you out of the game, there are plenty of resources you can use to help with a gambling addiction bud. Don't think we need a command like this at all.
