Disable waterSourceConversion gameruleWhat are you suggesting:
To disable the new waterSourceConversion gamerule that was added in 1.20. By default the gamerule is enabled causing water to be renewed infinitely, as we have been expecting water to behave for years. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
We are a hardcore economy server and this might add more market value to users with water packages. Another positive this might add is water sources won't update which in return will cause less block updates which might boost performance in server chunk loading.Other information:

Changing a vanilla gameplay feature to add more value to a paid feature is a terrible idea for new player retention.
Do we not remember the days of builders logging in, going "why can't I place water?", and immediately leaving?-

I'm a little confused about this, but I did do a quick google search so correct me if I'm wrong. What video is suggesting is removing the ability to create infinite water sources? I gather there is a new gamerule to disable infinite water and ultimately create infinite lava sources (if you chose to do so)?

I'm not a fan tbh, besides modifying a vanilla gameplay aspect unnecessarily (which is generally detrimental to new player retention). I feel this could really mess with how you as users need to handle water in the future, perhaps making building water features harder and more annoying.
