In Game Name: VolvithWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Limit Town Applications to ONE Per DayWhat are you suggesting: Limiting the amount of towns a user can apply for on the forum to one per day. If a user can buy 200 towns in a day, there's a problem that needs fixing. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: With the inflated economy, and price alterations being nowhere in sight, i feel that we'll only run into the "megalomania" problem more, with users with dozens of millions just buying up entire sectors of a server. Considering that without some kind of alteration to current systems, be it price adjustments or something in the form of my suggestion, this problem will only get worse down the line as the economy will likely keep inflating, i think that this is a decent fix for the current problem.Other information: If you're going to start whining about "but muh 20 towns", we're hardcore economy, you can wait 20 days for 20 towns if you need them. There's no valid reason other than fucking memes to not fix this problem. :/Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1 I get your concerns, but we shouldn't limit it to just one day. Maybe five, but not one. Plus, this would hurt a lot more than those who apply for a plethora at a time.
Please further explain exactly how this would hurt other people than those only applying for so many at a time? Additionally, i don't see the implications of one being too restrictive compared to five.
Using myself as an example, I might get two, maybe three towns at one time. Why should I also be limited? Additional towns are a great way to remove money from the economy, so to limit it to max 500k a day per person isn't going to do such. To add, based off your suggestion, you can only apply up to mayor, then need to wait 24hr to get president (assuming you want the town), then another 24hrs for another town. One just feels super limiting whereas something like five isn't as much (plus, for general knowledge and context, the most towns someone applied for in one day was around 20ish before yesterday) Also, I don't know why you are against my countersuggestion so much, especially when I kind of sort of agree with your suggestion to a degree
I don't understand. Your idea on a check on inflation is to limit the amount of money that can leave the economy. What?
-1 I don't think it will solve anything, plus it will just be annoying when you want to start a big project
-1 Someone buying 200 towns isn't a common enougth occurance for a measure like this to be implimented
-1 A single main server can fit 22500 towns, when people start buying so many towns that that number may actually be reached, perhaps its time to discuss something like this.
+1 this will keep me from spending more than 500k a day and making that money disappear from the economy.
^ Literally this, this suggestion makes absolutely no sense, especially given the size of our Rising map/s.
