Neat idea, but definitely not that high of a percentage. I'd be fine with all magic items with all respective levels used for a +10% bonus when turned in.

if it is every tool/item and all levels then im okay with this being added, but needs to be legit everything.

+1 prestige percentages are low as you only get 200% sell hand from prestige 10.

240% with full prestige and lvl2 armor

360% with full prestige and magic item

not even including mythic boost of 10% and stackable.

Prestiges should be a reward for actual work put into a task, whether that work is put in by oneself or one pays another to put the work in for them

it’s enough that we have crate collector, which is already very much p2w

if we want a magic sink then we should add magic items to crate collector

That’s not even bringing up the fact that prestige percentages are insanely high and we absolutely do not need more of them

But at the end of the day what happens happens so I guess we will see

 

I'm gonna have to -1 this only due to magic items having a boost in drops and essentially making the prestige an easy p2w bonus for those that can drop tons of money on drops.

Not really. Yes, p2w makes it easier, faster, and less stressful to get it, but every prestige we have is obtainable without p2w options. Hell, for example, my single prestige I have I got without paying a single USD (Booklet). The only one you can argue is p2w is Top 3 islands in sb, and maybe just sb in general, but I have seen a few people prestige without paying a single USD.

But onto what I think about this suggestion:

I initially was going to +1 this, but @Videowiz92 makes a great point. I would love another prestige, so long as we can cap the amount of prestiges that give a sell bonus to ten, but this probably isn't a good one to add. All other prestiges, as mentioned, are obtainable without p2w (although it is hard). This one will have no f2w option, so thus why I need to give it a -1

 

First you say prestiges are not p2w, then you say prestiges are a little p2w (Yes, p2w makes it easier, faster, and less stressful to get it) THEN you say 1 prestige is p2w and then the whole of skyblock (4 out of the current 10 prestiges!!) is p2w, which one is it?? I've never seen someone contradict themself so many times in one paragraph before

 

No, what I said is they are all obtainable f2w and have seen people get the prestiges f2w. I will admit I did accidentally delete the part when typing it that people did get skyblock prestige without paying USD, but I have seen people prestige f2w with every single prestige option, except Top 3 islands.

Where I think you might've misread by mistake when I mentioned skyblock is p2w prestige. Keep in mind I said you can maybe argue, didn't say it is p2w, so you can't state that I said it is p2w. If someone can prestige in something without paying for features etc., then you cannot logically state it is p2w. I am not denying that a majority of sb prestiges had p2w aspects, but you cannot put words in my mouth that I said it is p2w. That is selective speech.

Yes, top 3 islands is the closest p2w prestige we have. I will state that if it makes you happy mate.

I agree with the suggestion, if there can be a f2w option, which there is not. A lot of long-time players are leaving ECC because of f2w options getting snuffed out and overshadowed by p2w (and what people describe as the recent spike in toxicity, but I digress). That is why I am hesitant about additions of more p2w aspects. I've been here and witnessed times when ECC almost died a few times, and most of them are from the shift towards an almost p2w-filled server.

 

There has been a large amount gaslighting recently. Legitimate concerns or observations being labeled as toxic or hostile.
