What are you suggesting:

@Jdawger made a good point about prestige worth in their suggestion. As a counterpoint I offer this. Percentage immunity from tax starting at a certain level of prestige and tapering off to 0 immunity as you approach full prestige.​

Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:

This will help to incentivize attaining prestige that will help to remove money from the economy while making prestige more attractive to start again.​

I agree, and I see how it would unbalance if it were. The suggestion is to tapper off as you increase towards full. It could also be limited to a certain dollar amount like x ecd will be protected or not counted. The draw of higher prestige is the amount of money you make from shops and sell hand instead.
