In Game Name: aux0What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Remove Server-Run BlockshopWhat are you suggesting: Remove server run blockshop at /warp blockshop on both main and main-northWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I would like to suggest that we remove the blockshop and allow players to mine and sell blocks at their own prices. As you all know, with changes in the economy, many items are now easier to purchase than buying them from another player or mining them yourself. For example, the prices of concrete, glass, and wool, are too low which can be seen in player shops matching the blockshop prices. By removing the blockshop, we can give newer players a chance to earn money, and players who want to purchase large amounts of blocks would affect the economy and drive prices up. This, in turn, would allow other players to mine and sell blocks for a profit, just as we have seen with dirt prices recently becoming a money-making method for new players. Implementing this change would bring the server closer to a true economy server and allow us to focus on making it more fun. Additionally, Clar would not have to worry about constantly adjusting prices and adding new blocks after each update. I believe that this change would make a positive impact on the ecocitycraft community, and I would love to hear your thoughts on itOther information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1, block shop is a great ECD sink and the prices are already set high enough to allow for player market on most of the blocks there
I will not be removing the blockshop/colorshop. As you know the blockshop/coloshop serves a couple purposes - it allows users to have the option to purchase tons of blocks in bulk very quickly, but it should be expensive to rely on this over the player market - this also takes ECD out of the economy. We also use it offer blocks/items that are -otherwise unavailable- due ECC/Minecraft settings. Such a light, reinforced deepslate, froglights and more to come in the future I'm sure. So I will look into adjusting the prices if needed instead of simply removing it.
