In Game Name: XvGwestWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Silent Armour FeedbackWhat are you suggesting: Feedback on the Recent "Silent Magic Armour" Update I wanted to start a discussion regarding the recent implementation of the Silent Magic Armor suggestion, and why I believe this update misses the mark for the game's balance. I get the intent behind wanting to avoid the annoying Darkness effect or removing minor inconveniences, but this update introduces some major balancing issues for sculk mining and warden mechanics: Removes the Risk from Sculk Mining: Part of the core gameplay and difficulty of mining in Deep Dark biomes has always been managing sound, carefully breaking shriekers first, or dealing with the looming threat of a Warden. Making players entirely silent removes all risk, turning sculk farming into an overly easy, mindless activity. Redundant with Existing Tools: It is also worth noting that we already had the magic shovel, which provides instant-breaking and silence for shriekers. Adding full acoustic immunity on top of that makes specialized tools feel much less impactful. Paradoxical Design: The only players who would actually want a Warden to spawn or engage with it are those wearing Magic Armour in the first place (since it makes you invincible). By making players completely silent by default while wearing or holding the armour, you have effectively removed natural Warden spawns for the exact demographic equipped to fight them. Kills Warden Farming: Because players are now silent, triggering a Warden organically is nearly impossible without going out of your way to build clumsy redstone noise contraptions. It practically ruins traditional Warden farming and interaction. Redundancy with Flight: We were already largely safe or able to bypass obstacles while flying; adding full acoustic immunity to the strongest armour set in the game pushes utility a bit too far. Overall, I feel this update swings a bit too far toward convenience at the cost of survival mechanics and engaging gameplay in the Deep Dark. I would love to hear what other players and staff think about how this affects the economy and gameplay moving forward. Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: It preserves engaging survival mechanics, keeps specialized tools relevant, and maintains active interaction with the Deep Dark ecosystem.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1 A: This suggestion is obviously written by AI B: Because you used a retarded AI model to write the suggestion, all of the reasons for the suggestion contradict each other. What do you mean "Removes the risk"??? Magic armor already removed the risk. A fact that you acknowledge when you say "The only players who would actually want a Warden to spawn or engage with it are those wearing Magic Armour in the first place (since it makes you invincible)." But that's wrong too, because... C: "Kills Warden Farming" -- Wardens drop nothing worth farming? Also you can just... not have all 4 pieces, still be invincible, and still spawn wardens.
I mean the risk/tension of spawning a Warden and managing sound, not the risk of dying (since magic armor already makes you invincible). And the value is in MCMMO leveling and engaging with the mechanic, not item drops. Sure, you can unequip pieces, but the full set shouldn't completely flatline natural Deep Dark interactions just for convenience.
