Talking in Local thinking I was in Global and that my chat was yellow because I was special... Also, when I was a builder I thought the [$$$] were an indication of how rich you were, in terms of in-game money, and I thought they changed automatically based upon your balance...
I virtually cried for 30 minutes when I randomly lost money. I had just gotten resident.. Except I was talking in global and everything.
Trying to auction something in the local chat in the wild... NO! Wait! I know one that's worse. I used to think that I could make trade signs, so I put a bunch of non-working trade signs in the wild.
I found a double skeleton spawner (when I say "double" I mean they were REALLY close to each other). I don't enjoy grinding mobs, so after wiping out the initial squadron of skellies I destroyed the spawners because I didn't think of the fact that I could have sold the coordinates. For what I later found out was a LOT of money.
I didn't have too many fails...although when i won my first lotto (1 ticketed a 49k) i was gonna save my money for mayor, but i ended up blowing 10k of it on random stuff XD Other then that time i bought a porkchop for 8 bucks from a person i will not name. The funny thing was, i knew it was a ripoff, but i didn't want the player (they were a mayor, now a president) to feel bad when i said no.
There was one time i wanted a fishing pole so bad because each fish was $50. I spent ages and ages looking for one. I figured out mobs were disabled, and i couldn't figure out how to get one. I believe i wondered into the spawnshops, couldn't understand the signs though. I remembered that i somehow got my hands on one, don't remember how though.
No this was back when i was a builder, you got 16 porkchops every day. Porkchops were as rare as a coal vein. $8 was a huge ripoff XD
If I remember right, I sold some guy like 50 diamonds for 30$ each when they they were like 100-120$ each...I think that's it.
It's either not trying to get resident for 4 months, or believing a guy that had scammed me when he said he didn't get the money. Andrew cleared that up and banned him though <3
Why was this such a bad thing? I never knew Purrguin to know what he did... Anyways, for me... I can't think of anything ATM, but I'll come up with a fail soon...
