Upon attempting to start an auction, I receive the message "The auction queue is currently full". It seems i am also able to place bids on items but the auction never moves, theres not a count down for the auction at all. Right now there is honeycombs in auction and the bid amount does go up still when you bid. Any other info from other users is welcome.
Thanks for reporting. We have added this to our development queue. Seems that auctions got stuck on the Main server for some reason.
This should now be fixed and functioning properly. If it breaks again please tag me in this thread and let me know.
It looks like auction is breaking when it attempts to save 100+ items for an offline player. If a player auctions 100+ items and logs off and no one bids, the auction items go back to the player. But if they are offline and the amount was 100+ items it generates an error and auction breaks. It also applies if a player bids on 100+ items in auction and then logs off and wins auction - also generates the error and breaks auction. 99 and less items don't seem to break auction. Andrew, I've sent the error to our DM's.
Tested using Clars findings. Auctioned off 101 cherry sapplings, logged before the auction ended. Came back and my item was refunded and i was able to start another auction. Auction is now fixed. Thanks @ClarinetPhoenix and @andrewkm !
Seems that when it breaks, a server restart fixes it, however we're not sure what exactly is breaking it yet. If anyone notices / is able to reproduce it please let us know. Looks to be something related to going offline during an auction / queue or perhaps something to do with complicated special items, or a combination of the two. Needs investigation, potentially via MainSouth as well by @ClarinetPhoenix
