    Reason of Ban: Extreme staff disrespect / disruption in global

    Rule violated:
    Clause 3 - Harassment
    • Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play.
      • Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based.
    • This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system.
    • Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban.
    • Harassment is absolutely inexcusable on EcoCityCraft. If you are engaging in this behavior expect to be removed from the server with little to no warning.
    • Disrespecting staff falls under this rule - They are players too.


    Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: To not disrespect any staff members, or anyone in general for the matter of that, and to not cause silly disruptions in global.

    Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I'm going to be honest here, i've not been enjoying ECC lately.

    I've been getting scammed left, right & center, as well as i'm just generally getting bored of the same things and nothing new. I know that i shouldn't be taking out my boredom on the staff and players of ecc, but i done it anyway.

    I don't necessarily think that my actions were ban-worthy. Compared to a few others, (won't name any), i've not done alot, but then again it's my actions which have caused me to be banned and I accept this ban.

    Recently i was going for staff, and i had improved my behaviour/attitude towards everyone, but then certain people had been dragging me back, which i should of just brushed off and kept moving forward in a positive way, but i reacted in bad ways which was turning me back to the bad side.

    I honestly think i need this ban, to get my head straight, to have some time to think to myself of my actions, and to have a little break, and return as a fresh new great ecc citizen.

    I apologize to anyone that has been harassed by me, including staff, and for my disruption in global. Hopefully this is the last ever ban appeal you will be seeing from me, i hope to see you all soon.

    I'm going to be straight to the chase here: I'm sick and tired of players being completely rude to others as well as staff and thinking they'll get away with it. And that's exactly what your appeal says, that you thought you'd get away with it. The fact you don't think your actions were ban-worthy is perhaps exactly the issue here. Stuff like this takes away from everyone's enjoyment of the server.

    I'll just look at you since your last appeal...

    You amassed alt accounts to rig a public forum vote for the SG tournament. After that, you convinced us that really you meant well... but were later disqualified from the tournament anyway for unsportsmanlike behavior.

    Just the other day I saw you raise an issue in global when you thought you had been unfairly warned regarding a nickname. Instead of politely doing as requested and addressing the issue with a higher up privately, you started heatedly arguing in global. At which point you decided to change your name to an extremely similar name to... well, as far as I can tell purely to infuriate staff.

    And then just today when you saw a warning you disagreed with you again argued in global about it. To top it off, you responded to a staff warning by saying to a GA, "Tell your mods how to moderate".

    Your appeals history is quite extensive, covering almost every reason you could be banned for. I'm not convinced we won't see more issues as every time you've promised change... you do for a few days, maybe a few weeks, but always comes back to behavior that I can only describe as unacceptable.

    Take a week off of ECC. Reflect on the way you've been acting not just over the past couple days but past few weeks. After a week, convince me that you'll be a model ECC player from here on out.
