I had no idea that I had broke any rules as I wouldn't intentionally run a casino game that is illegal - The casino game I created was where I had a player choose a wool color, and I spun my logitech mouse and the player won money if the mouse stopped with the wool that the player choosen selected in the hotbar. If you don't believe me, here's proof of it: I was just trying to run a casino game and have fun, that's all, I meant absolutely no harm when hosting the game. I was not trying to make money of the game which is why i would take such small bets, it was just supposed to be fun for everyone. That being said though, I completely understand why staff banned me as thinking about it, I now realized that staff have no idea whether I'm actually letting the mouse spin randomly or intentionally controlling it. I fully understand why I was banned, and I'd again like to apologize to staff. I definitely won't be doing this again as I now know that this is stricly illegal and not tolerated. @matrix_rep a few things to address with regards to this appeal, thanks for touching on some of my concerns with your ban. It seems as if your appeal is fairly well written and I wish you the best of luck in getting unbanned, but here are the issue I see (sorry if irrelevant). I hope that these bits of my thought will assist staff in decision in the process of dealing with this appeal. -The video posted in the appeal does indeed show a mouse that allows for a seemingly long scroll time. This shows that perhaps there was a chance that you used this type of mouse in the player-run lottery you were running. However, this video does not prove that it was taken before the ban occurred- what could be happening here is like when a player gets banned for using a hacked client, clears their versions folder and uses their clean versions folder as evidence of "never having installed the client". The video could have easily been taken subsequently to the ban to allow for different circumstances that would fit the evidence against scamming. Either way, attempted scamming or not, the ban's reason was for player-run lotteries, which is unrelated. That's all for me, thanks. Sorry if irrelevant.
I understand that, but I thought the community would have trusted me. I would have posted the video on the complaint against me, however by the time I got back from the city I was banned. I never have scammed, and I don't plan on scamming, especially over 500 dollars which to me is nothing. As I stated in the appeal I did this as a way for everyone to have fun and test out a new game, never with a malicious intention. I am sorry you felt as though I had malicious intention. As a note for everyone else please don't comment here.
