Bug - Invis working without Investigator perk

Doesn’t work for me. Most likely a lag issue on your end.

I cannot see your screenshots, nor understand your bug report very well.
Someone else will have to confirm this bug and give me exact details as to whats going on.

I can explain. What you do is log onto a alt w/o investigator, then you drink an invis potion (it will spam you once or twice, just give it a break for a minute then drink it again) and boom, you will drink it. I've asked my friends what they saw and they said I was invis.

 

Can confirm that using a potion of invis does work even thought I do not have the investigator feature, I was not spammed with any sort of message in chat however.

Ok, I'll add this to our development todo list.

 

I have investigator and tested it, I do not get any message. I had @Karin_88 who does not have investigator drink the potion, and she turned invisible. So I don't see the problem.

I'd like to add that something tells me this was intended... why would people with investigator need invisibility pots that give off particles when they can /vanish.

 

invis potions were always an investigator feature. From the very start.

 

Well then my brain is fried. Like I said, I don't think any investigator is gonna wanna use a pot that gives off particles when they could /vanish. I think its a little silly. But eh, if Andrew fixes the bug, I could always go make a suggestion lol.

 

The entire ability to be invis is what is party of the feature no matter how you get it.

 

Haven't forgotten about this, however will be looked at after 1.14.4

 

This should now be fixed.
