Minecraft Username: williamannin Brief Description: Whenever you do /seen [player banned/permabanned over two months ago], it does not show Banned=True. This is a bug since some permabanned users who even are Forum Banned do not show up as "banned" in the /seen interface. Instructions: 1. Do /seen [User who was issued a ban/permaban over two months ago] 2. Note how the result does not show Banned=True It is clear some users should definitely be banned as per complaint verdicts/Andrew's post. (If a GA+ wants to know of examples where this bug is applicable, then please forum pm me. Discussion of banned users is against the rules) There is a guarantee these users are not unbanned, especially since some of them just recently filed ban appeals that are yet to be accepted. (so, they obviously cannot get in-game) Example: do /seen k***a**n Whereas, on the other hand, users recently banned still have the ban tag underneath their names. :-/ How many times did you recreate this bug?: 10 Result: Banned=True does not show up, so one cannot be sure whether the user can log in or is actually banned from the server. Expected Result: Under the username, "Banned=True" shows up for certain users. Evidence: Just try it with any permabanned/normally banned user from over two months ago. If I post a screenshot, it will include the names of banned users.
I am trying to dechiper this bug report. You cannot do /seen on people banned more than 2 months ago? I don't understand WHY this is a problem. If the ycannot be seen and haven't logged in for more than 2 months, what does it matter if they are banned or not? For LWC's, the inactivity timeframe should make the ban/not ban issue moot. For Town transfers/claims, you have to do a forum check anyway and you'll get your answer there. (Not being able to look them up means perma-banned. And clicking on their name in a post they made gives you their last "seen" date.)
It's a visual bug in /seen. The users are in fact still banned. He means that /seen doesn't show they are banned, not that /seen doesn't show at all
Like Kuke stated, users do not disappear from /seen. Users who were issued bans more than a month or two ago do not show a "Banned=True" tag when they likely should. (E.G.: Permabanned players who are forum banned yet don't appear to be banned in-game) Sorry if the bug report sounded a bit confusing.
