Minecraft Username: Lexi731rocs Brief Description: I named a horse using a nametag. The name is only supposed to be seen from a block or two away but, instead, the name does not disappear as I move back, similar to a username. Instructions: Name a horse with a nametag. Take a few steps back. The name should disappear but it does not. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Once Result: Name does not disappear/reappear like it is supposed to. Instead, it just appears from no matter where you are. Expected Result: Name disappears as you step backwards and reappears as you step forward. Evidence: Additional Information: The horse is in Legacy at the coordinates of X: -2304 Y: 55 Z: -5224 and his name is Brutus.
Did this horse happen to be spawned via an egg? If so from what I recall, the egg could of been named, and with that, the name always appears above the head, no matter how far away you are.
I am unsure as to how the horse came to be but once I got it, I renamed it with a nametag and now it does not disappear.
