Thread title: Money duplication bug Minecraft Username: @loganeric Brief Description: I typed /bank deposit in game. It told me wrong command, and try again. So I did, and then it told me to wait 5 seconds. So I waited and then did it again. I only had 100K in the bank, but when I deposited my 16,786, it deposited twice.. Instructions: 1. Type /bank deposit 1 2. Type /bank deposit 1 again (look for wait message) 3. Type /bank deposit <amount> and check forum balance How many times did you recreate this?: Just once, it's a serious issue, however. Result: The money that I deposited added twice to my account. I'm sure this would work again, however, I won't try it. Evidence:
I'll just add that I had this exact same problem happen. Went to move 41k over, got an error message, did it again, and had 82k added to the forum account.
I'm having a hard time replicating this. What exact steps did you go through, and what error message did you see?
@JamieSinn @andrewkm I attempted several times to replicate this bug. I could not. I will let you know if I am able to dupe it again.
Yeah I just did it (accidentally), its repeatable. i originally had 16,069.20. but i tried to transfer that exact amount, and it gave me an error message. I then just deposited $16,069.00 and it went through. Seeing that my money had doubled, I repeated the process and it worked again.
The trophies are fine, we'll have to adjust your balance and continue investigating. @Spangler17 can you tell us exact steps you are doing and exact error messages your getting (with some screenshots hopefully). @JamieSinn I've adjusted the balance of @rosypolly and @Spangler17 In the meantime you need to look into this as it's a serious issue and cannot be happening.
Try to be as detailed as you can in you the steps you take, perhaps keep a notepad open and write them down as you are doing them.
My balance is exactly 16,069.20. I type /bank deposit 16,069.20, and it gives me an error message which reads "Deposit aborted, you don't have enough balance for this". Then, the money is both on the forum and in my balance in-game.
@Spangler17 please keep trying to reproduce this and once you do post here as fast as you can so we can look at the time stamp. I just enabled some extensive monitoring on your account to see what the cause may be.
