Thanks for reporting. It looks like the removals by @SirChilledMrHobo will need to be reverted as there are still signs with these potions.
Should I break all my potions signs and empty them into chests? Is this something that will help the server if I do so? [edit: Is this something we'll need to worry about in the future if not resolved now?]
I also have a great, great many potions in signs... a small number in my shop, but lots more elsewhere.
The possibility can't get ruled out, in the future potions may cease to work with trade signs at all due to Minecraft changes.
The storage of potions is a nightmare currently. Is there any way they could at least be made to stack? I know that at one time they did as I have seen them.
At this time you can keep your signs. Should we ever alter trade signs with potions we will make a global announcement at least 1-2 weeks in advance.
There was more than potions you could stack with the /stack command, and there were bugs of a whole other nature with that. Still, with the way we enchant via sign, that might not be an issue any more and we can bring it back?
I forgot about the bug with stack, but do kind of remember it now that you brought it up. I really hope you are right and that it can be brought back.
