I'm all for this, admiral, but I think there should be some type of challenge in order to achieve resident. The $5,000 bonus that Andrew used to give out was awesome and so was the extra $5,000 that you matched. I think that by giving new players the full $15,000, they don't have any challenges starting the server, and probably won't continue to make the next, giant, jump to $85,000.
I think I actually kind of agree with that in a way .-. but.. Idk. I played on here before and got to resident through just constant farmage.. (farmation.. farmisticism?... anyway...) And I was ecstatic that I could get everything I had lost back just because there are some really great, kind players on this server.

I understand your thoughts on this completely and open to any suggestions you many have. When we had the original 5k server bonus, I only offered 2.5k as the additional bonus so they would be half way to resident. I and my "not no secret hidden" backers Ikn... and Wolf... are watching the results closely. I will say that every single player we have had accept the bonus has immediately applied for resident and from what I have seen have been pretty active playing which was exactly what we were hoping. For me, the challenge right now is the act of applying for rank of Resident and having a forum account since many players much smarter than me believe that players that join the forum are much more likely to stay with the server and want to stay part of our community. Please feel free to suggest any ideas on what "challenges" you would like to see.
