Thread Title: During Christmas you were able to buy coupons and send the codes to friends. I would like to make it where you can do this all year. Minecraft Name: @creeperheat Suggestion: Being able to buy coupons all year. Reason: When I want to buy a feature but dont have enough/dont want to spend that much usd it makes me think that if we made it where you could buy coupons you could pay a player ingame money for a lets say, $20 giftcard and you want to buy fly. So you only pay 40$ irl and use the $20 gift so you can earn the $60 for fly. I think this would make people with only like $5 on them irl they can just like spend ecd and buy features. More features being bought, more money for the server, more money for the server more money to spend making Ecc better . You have to do these manually. That's too much work for Administration for minimal gain. Won't happen.

Howabout instead we just add coupons whenever a sale is on? It may be quite a few but it's still less than the amount of coupons that would be sold all year round.
I'd like to see this only if there is someone to make it automatic. If not, I'd rather see time being spent towards other parts of the server instead of coupon codes.
Buycraft already generates unique codes. You can also customise the codes when setting a coupon up. I think that we should try and contact BuyCraft to implement a credit type function. This would enable users to buy "credit" or "coupons" and have them saved on their account.
I see a problem: Let's say player A buys coupon code for player B. The transaction is made and B now has $20 in his/her acc. Troll now comes in and uses player A's coupon code. Troll says they are player A on ECC shop website. Troll gets $20 feature for free because of coupon code, but it is not the feature A wanted. A complains to staff and now staff has to change donation feats., punish Troll, etc. Staff must deal with this case, along with tons of others.
I'm a bit confused. Player A wouldn't have the code, Player B would. And how does the troll get the code?
Ohh nvm Srry, I forgot. I thought money would be loaded onto account, not code. And yeah, I meant using player B's code, not a.
It's alright, I'm never noticed, so much so that nobody would notice if I vanished from the server. @oreo1227 seems to be the only one that cares now .-.
Maybe administration should make them i meanie it would make more money right.... And sometimes you gotta spend more time for some more money
