You're not the first person to have this. I believe the problem has to do with the mac graphics card drive with intel graphics processing. On some forums, people have said that use of shaders seems to circumvent the problem on mac. Others have said that when the dual booted with windows, the problem is not there in windows. You don't by chance have a 15'+ mac with a dedicated graphics card do you? If so, you can get a small utility called gfxcardstatus - which will allow you to manually control which graphics card is being used, so you can activate the dedicated graphics card before running minecraft, and that could help resolve the problem... Remember this will only work if you have a dedicated graphics card in your mac 15'-17'.
I know absolutely nothing about graphics cards or anything like that… Just by be clear, a shaders mod could possibly help fix this? If so, would you mind linking me to the best one? Also, if it had a tutorial on how to download it, that'd be great. Thank you
