I'm not sure why, but for the last week or so I have been crashing non-stop. I'm lucky to be on for 5 minutes before it crashes again. This is extremely hard when talking to someone (messages won't send) and building (crash and stuff's gone). Anything that would cause this? [Please do not tell me to restart my computer, that has nothing to do with it]
Ever since the new update I have experienced too. All I have done is set my version to a earlier version and it seems to work fine.
Try updating your java as well. And what kind of crashes are they specifically? The client crashing or just you getting disconnected from the server?
99% of the time it's a client crash. Every now and then I'll get a "Disconnected from Server" error, but t usually says "Runtime Error......" I will screenshot them.
try playing minecraft without mcpatcher. As I see something that indicates mcpatcher. (Mcpatcher is a mod, so answer with yes next time I ask if you have any mods installed.)
That's weird, I don't remember downloading mcpatcher. I thought the only mod I had was Optifine. Edit: I can't find mcpatcher, where would it be located? (I don't have a "Mods" folder)
Maco this was happening to me when I had macro mod. I would just delete minecraft and re-download. You can always drag out important folders such as screenshots, texture packs and optfine if you'd like. Or, at least that is what I did when i was crashing
Redownloaded Mincraft and the only things I kept were Optifine, World Saves, Screeenshots, and Texture Packs. @kukelekuuk00 where would the MCPatcher file be located?
Optifine 1.7.5 I downloaded 1.7.5 Optifine b/c I thought it would help (I was crashing on 1.7.2 before you suggested 1.7.5).
Try without optifine, because your crashing is connected textures, which exists in both optifine and mcpatcher. (I thought it was mcpatcher because you said you had no mods.. *stares*)
