Sorry, I meant 5.4 billion years and did my math wrong as a result. lol. The sun's hydrogen is expelled in roughly 5.4 billion years, and it will expand into a red supergiant and engulf the Earth. That doesn't really matter though, because the sun's gradual growth will evaporate all the Earth's water in about a billion years and kill all life because it will be brighter and hotter. 55.
