    Hello people of ECC.

    A while ago (April), I made 2 suggestion threads. One was about Luckydraws and Daily Task/Rewards, and the other one was about nstars. Here is the Suggestion again.. Cmd C + Cmd V. Yes :l

    'Everyday a player logs in, they can get a reward. On the 7th day (one week), the player can get a better reward(s).

    However, the reward can only be received if you have 30mins+ of active gameplay a day.

    Rewards can include Nstars, cash, lotto tickets, ores, chorus fruit, exp.

    The one week reward (7th day) will be the same rewards, but x2 or x3 the amount.

    Daily Tasks:

    Everyday you login, you will have a set of tasks to complete. After completing these, you will receive a reward (lucky draw). Tasks can include, winning lottery, winning SG, earn X amount of money, etc.

    Lucky Draws:

    This can also be a daily thing or given after accomplishing tasks. Lucky draws 100% depend on your luck. Nothing about better ranks etc. However, lucky draws should not include any things that takes things away from a player. It should be giving the player something.
    Things from the lucky draw can include nstars, exp, cash, lotto tickets, ores, chorus fruit, and kits (SG kits, and Main server kits like Fly, Water, Nickname, CompleteControl, Elemental Awareness, etc.). HOWEVER, these kits can only be used for a short limit of time (not permanent).

    Pros: Makes some things easier for some people. Especially lower ranks.

    Nice way to keep people on as there are tasks players have to accomplish to receive their rewards.

    Cons: Exploits or bugs'

    AND... THE NSTARS SUGGESTION THREAD

    'Suggestion: Add more ways to get nether stars.

    Reason: Currently, there is only 2 ways to get nstars. Voting and getting them off the shop. It's just...... MEH.


    Any Other Information: Ways to get the Nstars can be from the lucky draws, daily reward things I suggested. Another way can be like each time you level up (herbalism, woodcutting, mining, etc.).'

    Out of the three of them, I really like this one. Purely because it comes down to your own motivation to get these rewards. However, I feel like 30 minutes would be too short. And also, what would prevent a player from simply logging on and being afk for that half hour, or however long it would be set at? Currently, (as far as my knowledge goes) we do not have a way to track whether a player is afk or not.

    On top of that, what if a player hasn't logged off for over 24 hours? Would the streak be continued if he were to simply be logged on/been playing for an hour after the new day starts for the server time zone?

    Also, would this streak be given a cool down, to ensure that it's once a day? Or could I log on and play for a half hour before the server timezone day would end, and then play for another half hour after the day starts, and then get two bonuses for the price of playing for simply 1 hour?

    Personally, I think an hour would be a nice time to have played for, and the rewards would have to be things that aren't completely economy changing.

    I'm a bit iffy on more ways to get nstars. I'm not sure how it will affect the market, but I'm pretty sure prices will increase.

    What do you consider "active gameplay"? Also how will this be measured, as some users are almost always in vanish.

    Hm.. Not too sure about the people in /v. I'm pretty sure even though players are in /v, the server can still see when a player actually joins and leaves. As for 'Active Gameplay,' as long as you are in ECC for a certain amount of time (30mins?), then the Daily Task can be set.

    Just what I am thinking, changes can be made

    +0.5 to the nstars (the economy for nstars is fine right now)
    -1 to the lucky draw (I feel ECC would change in a very bad way with this)
    And to suggest some things for daily reward based off player responses...

    Maybe make it the time it takes for the server to automatically kick you out.

    Plus, if you played any mobile games that does daily rewards, the reward is given for just a few seconds of activity. Even fir a MC server, I played on a popular server that offers mini games during both my bans, and their daily reward system just gives it to you if you log in and venture to a “delivery man”
    A simple 30 seconds of activity

    Also, you can make the same argument about offline voting too that the player just logs on to collect their items.

    I think a simple log off would work for the reward. Make it a set time. Plus, if you make it just a daily reward for logging in, there would be no issue here.

    Think it still counts you as there in the private server logs if you’re in /v

    To reiterate, if you make the reward system something you must go to rising spawn to get, that would probably be better and easier to integrate compared to 30mins of activity

    Edit: I was talking to someone today about this and they said that even putting it in the lobby would be a good idea. Gets players to visit this lobby more, plus it ensures a little more gameplay.

    I like the idea of more ways to earn money, and more ways to motivate people to earn money. Changes it up a bit from farming rows upon rows of crops or mining strip after strip underground. +1
