Hey everyone. @Ozzyblack21 and I have been talking about how much the server has changed. We found that we both watch a tv show called "Open Court" where retired basketball players talk about how the league used to be. They have interesting discussions and it is usually very funny. So we thought it would be cool to bring that here. You may be wondering: Who am I? Well the younger players in ECC would maybe know me as swagasian014 or Lil_Swain. That is because this account broke for whatever reason. Not from server but the actual minecraft account. I decided to use this because it is the oldest of my accounts so for this purpose it makes the most sense. Anyway, I talked to ozzy and we decided if you have been playing for more than 2.5 years, that makes you eligible as you are "experienced" Anyone else can chime in of course, but those are the people who we could call "veterans". So if you want to say something about old ecc and how it has changed, feel free to join in. Thanks
Back in the good ole days, people recognized that things actually change over time and didn't flood the forums with these stupid threads
Crop prices higher. Light farms. No star tools. No Rising. Town portals. Less [VIP]s. Cash and pork from voting. Manual applications. And of course, PLAYER COUNT. I couldn't join due to player cap sometimes even. I can go on, I guess...
one of my favorite memories about ecc was when everyone would just screw off at spawn on top of the portals together XD There were even days where people would stand around fishing in the portals haha.
The times when we had 200 people in spawn all at once for a event/snipechest Never guna happen again lols.
I remember the whole server getting together to do a Harlem shake video lol spawn completely lagged out in the middle of it
When the nether was an actual warzone and people fought tooth and nail to control blaze spawners for exp. We had a stranglehold on them and at one point forced exp to $11 PER ORB! I used to spend most of my time in the nether with my clan mates. Shout out to my old Brotherhood friends! There were also no enchants or XP, so nobody cared if their diamond pick broke, they had like a gazillion more anyway.
