Just letting you know @Masonrf that use of any world downloader mod to get these results is highly illegal.
When did this change? I was informed by Nicit awhile back it was legal... I believe I have screenshots somewhere if you need them... EDIT: could someone also point out where in the rules it states a world Downloader isn't allowed? Unless for some odd reason it's qualified as a hacked client, I can't find anything relating to it in the rules. EDIT 2: if you feel the need to take this to pm that's fine, just start a convo.
Ok so due to this I guess I need a mod to lock this until I can find some other way to do these (if I can which is doubtful).
It seems odd to me that this tool would be considered an unfair advantage, but I can see how it can become one. If someone were to abuse it and use the generator to see entire areas of the worlds to find ore and resources, that would be cheating/ an unfair advantage. Unless somebody said something in the forums or in game about using it in that way, nobody knows if other players are doing this as far as I know, but I'm no expert in Minecraft servers lol. We're obviously not using it for illegitimate use, we're creating awesome aerial views of the best builds on ECC, which can't be obtained in any way in game.
It is unfortunate that a mod that could provide a good service to the player community, could and probably is used for illegitimate purposes by what could be the minority makes it non the less necessary to limit its use on the server. Wish you luck in finding an alternative method to map players towns.
