The idea of this is for people to sign up, and then they get given a gift, and they give a gift also.
Just like the irl Secret santa!
This is not about giving like crazy amounts of ECD, its about giving to others.

How will this work?:
This will work just like the real life Secret Santa, but a few things are changed.
Everyone will be sent a mail of who they are supposed to be gifting, in game.
Then each and every one who has signed up, will have until the 20th of December to prepare the gift they are going to give to the person they have been allocated.
If your gift is able to be placed in a chest (for example, player heads, rare items), then you will do so in a certain chest.

Chests will be placed around a Christmas tree at a yet-to-be-decided/finished space, with the receiver's name on it. So for example you are Player1, and you're supposed to gift Player209, then you will place the gift in the chest with a sign that says 'Player 209' on it.
All chests will be locked by me, and the person who is supposed to gift will be added to it. Then on 25 December, the gift receiver will be able to open it!

If your gift isn't able to be placed in a chest, for example, ECD, then all you would have to do is pm me, send me the money, and I'll keep it for you and deliver it on Christmas day. More info on gift deliveries are in the Extra Details section.

Gifting Rules:

Welcome to the rules of gifting.
By participating in Secret Santa, you agree to these rules.

1. Please be generous with your gifts, it helps spread positivity.

2. Minimum of 10k in total for your gifts (pricing), unless it is a rare or priceless item. We are slightly lenient on this, it all depends if someone complains about the gift or not. This helps keep it fair for those who put a lot of effort in their gift, no one wants to get a potato after giving 50k. If you seriously can't do the 10k minimum in prices/worth, contact me.

3. You may not take back your gift. That would just be unkind.

4. Keep the person you are gifting SECRET! This is is Secret Santa after all.

When can we put the gift in the chest?
20 Dec - 24 Dec.

Where are the chests located?
We are still deciding on that, and will be revealed before 20 Dec.

When will be able to receive our gifts?
25 December.

Can I change the person I am supposed to gift?
No, unless you really have a problem with them.

Someone gave me a gift that was unfair. What do I do?
If someone gave you a bad gift, or something that isn't right or fair, please let me know.


Extra Details:

I shall be doing gift deliveries for anyone who wont be online in the gift delivery time frame (20th to 24th December). This is so it still stays fair! PM me in game or on the forums if you'd like me to deliver your gifts.

Please be generous if you can with gifts. We don't want you to struggle over getting gifts, but it wouldn't be fair if someone gives you a star tool and you give someone a potato.
