    I think that, if he's paying real money for a service outside ECC, and it doesn't have anything to do with ECC, then it's legal, but it should go in Off-Topic or something. In my understanding, what's not legal is the exchange of ECC money/service with/for IRL money/service (the only exception to this is feature purchase), but that's just my understanding.
