[Error] GIF broken in a forum PM

I cannot reproduce this with imgur, however I can reproduce with the gif link you provided.

Ah, fair enough. May I ask why GIFV isn't allowed?

 

Seems to be that GIF specific.
I won't be considering this a bug at the moment as many other URLs do work.

Well conclusion here is, the forum doesn't like "Office related GIFs"

GIFV are webm video formats, not image formats. Therefore they do not show or work as images. Don't put them in img tags.



You can convert most GIFVs to GIFs by just removing the V from GIFV in the extension.



Which, ironically, doesn't appear to work. (even though it shows just fine in the editor)
