[Error] GIF broken in a forum PM

Ok I got it.
The gif you are attempting to post isn't a GIF
It is a GIFV, we don't support that.

 

@andrewkm I think that plugin you got for gifv's messed up images somehow. For example, even on the recent build comp news post, the image is broken.

 

Some images are messed up because of the image proxy ecc uses. All images are proxied through ECC. And some of the images just don't work.

Well, that explains the broken gifs. They are generally pretty large.

And you will find a valid gif. Don't use gifv's.

This "add-on" does not allow it; further more we already use it.
EDIT: Actually hmm, let me check my settings though for that specific add-on.
