Thread title: Tags on the forums aren't working properly, at least this one didn't Minecraft Username: sick24 Brief Description: I was "tagged" in a thread, but not only did I not receive an alert, the hyperlink on the tag led to zedoker's profile. Instructions: Not sure, because I was not the one to tag someone. How many times did you recreate this bug?: So far only once, but this is not the first time I have been "tagged" and not received an alert. Result: A tag appeared in the thread, but I did not receive an alert nor did the tag lead to my profile page Expected Result: The tag to alert me and lead to my profile page Evidence: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/92657/ In that thread, the second to last post is the false link. I would also like to tag @zedoker to see if they received an alert from that post. I also asked Vortlex in game about this because I know you can copy/paste tags and they don't give alert, however they said that they tagged me themselves without copy/pasting.
I was tagged in Vortlex's thread, and this one as well. :/ I think this might be a result of copying/pasting the names.
Perhaps Vort chose to tag zedoker with the dropdown and edited it to say sick? I'll try that here, tagging zedo but having it say Sick. @sick24 edit: looks like it tagged Sick, worth a shot though.
I'm not sure if this is relevant to this but ever since we updated the forums, while using tapatalk, hyperlinks for tags do not show up or work? Idk I'm just saying
I didn't receive a tag notice for that post, nicit. I only received an alert for a reply to this thread. And it still pop-ups with a link to my profile page.
This happened to me too apparently, I was tagged in a thread but the only reason I knew was because someone else made a post in that thread, it auto watched the thread for me, but never actually notified me for my @HCPillarofFire
Then I don't know what's wrong with it, I tagged you in 3 different ways, one even includes copy pasting.
Also since the update, Tapatalk shows all user's avatars inside of quotes as my own... I have a picture of it I posted to their support forum, but I got no reply. Now I'm thinking it may just be this forum that messed it up, I'm not sure... Sent from my NX008HD8G using Tapatalk
